Course: Facilitation Divergent Tools for Research & Extension Professionals

In earning this badge participants will learn and apply divergent facilitation tools to generate ideas, create possibilities, create buy-in, honor diverse perspectives and help groups move past limitations to find possible solutions. Each tool will be explained and explored, use cases will be determined, and participants will practice utilizing the tool in a facilitative session. Tools will include: Bridge Building, Affinity Diagrams, Mind Mapping, Fishbone Diagrams, Sticky walls, Rotating Flip charts (and other charette models), and brainstorming.

Facilitation Divergent Tools for Research & Extension Professionals microcredential introduces you to content through modules. Content requires approximately 16 to 24 hours to complete. Learning assessment will be conducted through learning activities. To successfully complete the microcredential and earn a digital badge, you must achieve a minimum passing score of 70%.
