Courses: Growing Growers - Starting a sustainable vegetable farm

Participants will learn the necessary skills for starting and maintaining sustainable specialty crop farms within or around urban areas. The course is self-paced and broken up into 12 learning modules, including plant propagation, production planning, soils, crop production, microclimate modification, postharvest handling and food safety, irrigation, integrated pest management, marketing, and farm management.
