Courses: Pharmacological Principles

This distance learning course will review the functions and problems of the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and endocrine systems, as well as the nervous, sensory and genitourinary systems. The human body is susceptible to multiple ailments and disorders. Therefore, several different treatments are available depending on the severity of the malady. In this course, we cover the prescription treatments used to manage or control these diseases. We will review the different diseases and disorders associated with each system and the variety of drugs and therapies required for disease management and prevention.

Success in this 45-clock-hour CE program is measured by passing (grade of 70% or higher) two rigorous examinations of 50 questions each.  Laurence V. Hicks, DO, and Larry (Ben) V. Hicks, MPAS, PA-C, are the instructors for this course.
