In this self-paced online course participants will be exposed to the Alphabetic Phonics approach to reading instruction for struggling readers and those identified with dyslexia. Lectures, demonstrations, opportunities for practice and feedback are required activities. The goal is to ensure every student has the instruction that will assist them in becoming a literate citizen. This microcredential provides one structured approach to reading instruction for students that need specialized support to aid them in their literacy journey.
