Course: Pesticide Safety and Application Fundamentals
The Pesticide Safety and Application fundamentals course provides training and educational materials for Kansas applicators. This course will cover the core competencies for Kansas producers who need to obtain their private applicator certification or those who want to obtain a better understanding of how to use pesticides safely. Participants will gain a better understanding of pesticide safety, environmental considerations, understanding pesticides, equipment, calibration, and laws and regulations. This course is comprised of six self-paced, online modules and includes reviews and activities to assess the knowledge gained.
Content requires approximately 5 to 10 hours to complete. Learning assessment will be conducted through learning activities. To successfully complete the microcredential and earn a digital badge, you must achieve a minimum passing score of 75 %.
