The noncredit on-campus course in Professional Portfolio Development in the Visual Arts is offered in Spring and Fall Semesters in the Department of Art at Kansas State University. It is ideal for students who seek to expand their skills through intensive study and studio art practice. The course is offered to participants who hold a bachelor's degree and are interested in developing their practice within an academic studio environment.

This credential is designed to produce artists who are competitive in the national arena for sought-after opportunities in areas such as grants, residencies, exhibitions, and education, such as the MFA in studio arts.

The noncredit in-person course meets during the advanced studio class for each respective studio arts area. Participants are expected to attend regularly and maintain a high degree of professionalism and community engagement.

Prior to enrolling in the course, students are required to register for a K-State eID at https://www.k-state.edu/it/eid/.  During the registration process, you will be required to enter your eID. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for accessing your course.    

Refund/Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration,please do so as soon as possible. Registration fees, less a $15 processing fee, will be refunded if notice is received in Global Campus at least 14 days prior to the start date. Due to guarantees we must give prior to the program, refunds are not available if notice of cancellation is received after the deadline. To cancel or modify your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the program name in the subject line. Registrants who do not cancel their registration by the deadline are responsible for the total registration fee even if they do not attend.
