NSF ENG CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop

The workshop aims to provide individuals who plan to submit a CAREER Award proposal to a program in the Engineering Directorate with a CAREER proposal review experience and a forum in which they can interact with NSF program directors and recent NSF CAREER awardees.

Accommodations

The Workshop has reserved hotel rooms at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, located at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA. Hotel information is also available at the Workshop Website: www.ksu.edu/career. The room rate for Single/Doubles is $229.00 per night plus taxes, Triple rate is $259.00 and Quad room rate is $279.00 plus taxes. The cutoff date for room reservations at the special rates is  Sunday, March 10, 2019.

You can reserve your room online. Workshop attendees are responsible for their travel and lodging arrangements and expenses.  

Refund/Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration, please do so as soon as possible. Workshop fees, less a $50.00 processing fee, will be refunded if notice is received in the Conference Registration Office on or before 02/25/19. Due to guarantees we must give to the hotel prior to the workshop, refunds are not available if notice of cancellation is received after the deadline. To cancel or modify your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the workshop name in the subject line. Registrants who do not cancel their registration by the deadline are responsible for the total workshop fee even if they do not attend the workshop.

Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this workshop because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the workshop is canceled or postponed, workshop fees will be refunded but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued if the workshop is held but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather, or due to other extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of Kansas State University.

Publicity Statement

Registration for this event gives consent for photographs, publicity and inclusion on the participant list unless K-State Global Campus is notified in writing prior to the start date.
