Event: GEAPS/K-State Grain Elevator Managers Course
Course Description: The GEAPS/K-State Grain Elevator Managers course benefits individuals that are responsible for supervising grain operations or work in grain quality management. The course focuses on the science behind the practices used in grain storage, handling and quality management. It provides operations personnel and new or current managers with the information they need to correctly interpret the experiences they have when managing grain quality, and the insight they will require when evaluating the practices used at their facility.
Course Topics: Personnel management, grain quality management; grain handling equipment; grain drying;grain operations costs; grain inventory management; grain receiving and shipping; grain condition monitoring; grain aeration strategies and fumigation, among other topics.
Refund Policy/Cancellation Policy: The IGP Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. If a course is canceled, participants will be refunded 100% of their tuition. If a course is rescheduled, participants will have the opportunity to have 100% of their registration fees applied to the rescheduled course or receive a full refund.
Participants who wish to cancel or transfer their registration to another employee can do so for a $100 processing fee as long as notice is received at least fifteen days prior to the course start date. Refund requests made fourteen days or less before a course start date will be not be refunded.
Publicity Statement: Registration for this event gives consent for photographic, publicity and inclusion on the participant list unless K-State Global Campus is notified in writing prior to the start date.
