Course Detail: LLC.2036 - Build Your Own Miniature General Store

Step back in time to build your own miniature creation. Your "Olde General Store" will contain interesting items from the past such as bolts of fabric, train lanterns, tools and much, much more. You will be building the fruit stand and check out counter then stocking the shelves with an array of miniature items. Ages 10-17.

Biography:

I have been involved in the educational profession for over 20 years, retiring from JJC in 2017. I have developed a number of learning programs which include sewing, crochet and most recently miniature creations, such as a general store, Renaissance library and a miniature bookcase.

My pleasure time is filled with reading both fiction and non-fiction, general landscaping and riding my motor scooter.

I started my working career as a production welder for General Motors, Fisher body division in the second wave of women hired at this manufacturing plant. Since retiring, I have enjoyed watching my grandchildren grow and spending time with family, friends and my wonderful husband, Jim.
