Learn the factors affecting food safety and causing foodborne illnesses; dangers of chemical and physical contamination of food; procedures for preparing, cooking and serving food safely; process for purchasing, receiving and storing food; importance of personal hygiene for food service employees; and techniques for storing food and cleaning and disinfecting cooking areas in this ANSI accredited online training. Online class can be completed in about two hours. Upon successful completion of the course and test, you can print your Food Handler Card. Card is valid for three years. This course does not satisfy education requirements for food managers.
