One in four of us will struggle with the challenges of mental health in any given year. The inability to work, engage in satisfying relationships and carry out daily activities are signs of a mental health concern. NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) Will-Grundy is the local affiliate representing the largest grassroots organization in the country. NAMI Will-Grundy offers, at no charge, education programs and support groups in our mission to "provide education, support, advocacy and public awareness, so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives." This NAMI Will-Grundy program will provide you with a description of the available educational programs and support groups. With peer support and testimonies, we can help you to select the support services best suited to you as an individual seeking additional mental health support, or as a family member supporting an individual on their journey to mental wellness. Formal diagnosis is not needed. There is hope in recovery.
