Course Detail: LLC.3457 - Art and Math Through Pastries -Series 3- Pie Patterns

In this hands-on series of workshops, young chefs will not only bake delicious treats from scratch but also work on their math skills by measuring ingredients using both the imperial and metric systems, practicing fractions, exploring different patterns and telling time. Perfect for budding bakers, these workshops combine creativity, science and a sprinkle of math to make learning sweet! Select one class or all four! In this creative Pie Patterns class, kids will learn to bake a delicious pie while exploring different patterns. From weaving lattice crusts to decorating with geometric or nature-inspired designs, they'll discover how patterns can transform their pie into a work of art. For ages 8-12.
