Biography: Rosy Gallegos blends the precision of a computer engineer with the creativity of a seasoned baker, proving that innovation can be both high-tech and delicious. At the college, she teaches an inventive mix of 3D printing, digital fabrication and baking, covering everything from classic pastry skills to intricate sugar work and eye-catching cake designs. Her classes often bridge the MakerLab and the kitchen with imaginative projects like custom 3D-printed molds and laser-cut cake toppers, inspiring students to experiment, get hands-on and discover the magic that happens when science meets butter and sugar.
