All Things Google will introduce educators to several Google products, including Google Classroom, Advanced Search, Google Drive, Google News, Google Sites, YouTube, and more. Significant emphasis will be placed on how these tools can impact classroom practice, including writing, teaching, and reflecting on lesson plans using Google tools. Students will also create "How-To" screencasts to teach their students and/or colleagues how to use these Google tools.


Students will learn about low-, mid-, and high-tech assistive technology that helps to address students' unique learning needs so they may find success in their learning environment. Students will learn to use a variety of assistive technology and receive an introduction and overview of augmentative and alternative communication devices that support language development for students with limited verbal ability.


Canva Plus is the next step after Canva for Education, created in response to Canva's rapid growth and powerful new features. As Canva continues to evolve - adding tools like AI helpers, photo and video editing, Sheets, and interactive apps - this course gives educators a chance to explore what's new and discover how these tools can support more engaging and efficient teaching.


The course aims to prepare educators to successfully teach advanced computer programming for high school students in all curricular areas. Students will continue to develop their background in computer programming with the study of data structures; including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, and hash tables. Algorithms to manage these structures will also be a focus, including searching and sorting.

The course uses a combination of free Google applications and third-party add-ons and emphasizes collaboration with other educators and people worldwide.

This course is the first in a series of Computer Science Authorization courses that enable teachers to be credentialed to teach Computer Science and is designed to fulfill requirements for the California Computer Science Supplemental Authorization, but may be taken by those not seeking the Supplemental Authorization.
