Global passenger traffic is forecast to exceed 12 billion passengers by 2030, driven by continued growth in international markets, particularly across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions (ACI World, 2025). Against this backdrop of sustained global growth, the Airline Operations Management course-offered in partnership with ICAO as part of the Global Aviation Professional Program (GAPP)-provides an in-depth, practical study of modern aviation management.

Course Delivery

The course is delivered over one week in a flexible virtual format combining live instruction with self-paced coursework:

EagleVision (powered by Zoom): Our virtual classroom technology for live, interactive sessions. Engage directly with professors and classmates in real-time during scheduled lectures. All live sessions are recorded and made available to participants in the event that a session is missed.
Canvas: A modern, cloud-based learning platform accessible from any device. Access course materials, submit assignments, and collaborate on discussion boards at your own pace.

Online EagleVision sessions run Monday through Friday and are supported by asynchronous Canvas activities throughout the week. Upcoming course dates and times are listed in the Session Information section below.

Registration and Course Fees:
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your seat in an ERAU Professional Education & Training course.

Changes to Your Enrollment:
We understand that plans can change! If you need to withdraw from a course, you'll receive a full refund (100%) as long as you notify us at least ten (10) working days before the start of the course. Requests to withdraw made after this deadline are not eligible for any refund; however, a one-time transfer to the next session may be possible. Requests to withdraw should be sent by email.

Class Cancellations:

Biography: Lin Qihua Email: linq@erau.eduEducation: Qihua earned his first degree in Aviation (Operations) from RMIT University and completed his postgraduate studies in Aviation Management and M.B.A in the International Air Transport Association and University of Geneva respectively. He also holds a Commercial Pilot License issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority since 2002.Awards and Experience: Qihua Lin ("Q") takes pride in igniting the passion of students in Aviation at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Asia where he has been an adjunct faculty member since 2015. Both work and education in Aviation has awarded him the opportunities to travel extensively from Australasia through Asia to Europe; which he hopes to capitalize to motivating his students. His current interests lies in the areas of Aviation and Cultures.Interests: Qihua enjoys meeting with people and all forms of travelling, even from the comfort of his 14-inches window (aka. notebook) in his spare time. One of his travel highlights include roaming 27 countries in Europe in a 100 days via the train. He is currently trying to lose a few pounds.
