About the Certificate Program
Introducing the Global Aviation Professional Program (GAPP), a unique global initiative designed specifically for aviation professionals and civil aviation regulators. This program has been developed in collaboration with prestigious institutions and organizations, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Korea Aerospace University (KAU), and Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC).
The primary objective of this joint professional program is to equip senior and mid-level aviation managers, along with civil aviation regulators, with comprehensive professional training program. Participants will gain a profound understanding of the relevant ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), while simultaneously acquiring the necessary competencies to proficiently address various aviation-related challenges. By instilling these skills, the program aims to ensure effective management of aviation issues and the consistent implementation of industry best practices.

Course Benefits
This course provides participants with applicational knowledge to enhance daily aviation operations, human factors and systems safety knowledge. This will assist the participants in optimizing the fit between people (themselves and co-workers) and the overall systems to improve the safety and performance level of the organization.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to increase expertise in aviation, such as airport, airline, air cargo and specific areas of safety and security.
- Develop and implement procedures of the safety and security program and applicable rules and regulations as per ICAO SARPs and international standards.
- Analyze and interpret aviation safety concerns in various contexts and communicate them effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on experiences and on-the-job practical training opportunities in terms of airport operation, management, safety, and security.
Structure
- Duration: Two years (24 months)
- Condition for Graduation:
- Completion of all seven (7) mandatory courses
- Completion of two (2) elective courses among seven elective courses
