Biography: Neil Dorsey has over 30 years of advocacy involvement in the community. Neil has been recognized by the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association for his commitment and leadership in advocating for our community at the local, State and Federal levels. Neil was the lead representative for his work place in dealing with State legislators for funding of bond bills, and legislation that would impact on the Department's work. He has testified before State and local elected officials, led advocacy teams, and interacted with a number of advocacy groups to educate and advocate for the community. Neil is a graduate of East Carolina University (BS, MS) and The American University (MA).
