Students are introduced to a more in-depth study of classical ballet technique. This includes learning and understanding the progression of a full barre, center exercises, through petit allegro. In addition to the introduction of new skills, there is also an emphasis on the use of proper ballet terminology. The class will also incorporate individual expressions of feelings, music interpretation, spontaneity, storytelling, and teamwork. Students need to take at least two classes per week for progression.
