Course Detail: INTWW - Introduction to Woodworking

Using techniques developed hundreds of years ago along with demonstrations and personal instruction by the instructor, you will build three tools to use in your future woodworking, and a small box (a great gift, or something for your shop) during the four sessions. You will learn about the four basic functions that inform all woodworking projects. Materials and tools which you may keep for future use will be furnished for everything you will be creating. Class requirement: an interest in the craft and a willingness to accept less than perfection (at least at the beginning!).
