Course Description: Living Well with Chronic Pain
If you are one of the millions of people living with chronic pain, participating in Living Well with Chronic Pain self-management program can help you learn skills to improve your health and quality of life. Living Well with Chronic Pain is a 6-week evidence-based program developed by Stanford University and the Self-Management Resource Center. This class is for anyone with a chronic pain diagnosis, or who experiences chronic neck, shoulder or back pain; fibromyalgia; repetitive strain injury; neuropathic pain or neuralgias; and those who experience persistent headache and/or other, severe muscular pain. Course is taught by educators licensed by the Self-Management Resource Center. Packed with useful advice, tips, strategies and positive reinforcement, Living Well with Chronic Pain empowers participants to become their own informed pain self-managers.
