Course Description: Bake and Create: A Sweet and Savory Adventure Youth Camp

This camp promises 4 days of handmade baking fun, creativity, and delicious treats! Learn to make homemade bread, colorful cookies and cupcakes, and more perfect-for-summer treats from scratch. This hands-on camp is perfect for beginners and budding bakers who want to learn new skills, experiment with colorful recipes, and bring their sweet and savory ideas to life! 
Taught by experience Chef Instructors, Kim Dargahi and Lori Miller, students will be guided through measuring, mixing, decorating, and baking while learning essential kitchen skills like safety, teamwork, and creativity. Each participant will take home their homemade goodies along with new baking confidence and a love for sweet and savory baked goods. Recipe book to take home included.
The kitchen is not gluten or peanut free. Please indicate known allergies in the check out process when prompted. Ages 10-15.

Additional Course Information

Please make sure your child(ren) are fed before camp begins. They are welcome to bring snacks from home. Bring 1-2 leftover containers each day to share what you prepared with your family and friends. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
