Course Description: HHPA 133: Ski Conditioning-Nordic

This course is an outdoor/indoor conditioning class for all levels of Nordic skiers. Goal of the class is to provide ski-specific cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength as well as improving Nordic ski technique. Various ski-specific drills and exercises will be used in a fun group atmosphere. This is a college-level Health & Human Performance course. Although assignments, tests, and quizzes are optional for Community Education students, you will be expected to fully participate. A textbook may be required for this course. Please check with the COCC Bookstore. https://bookstore.cocc.edu/home. Students will need to provide specific materials used in this course; please see the syllabus for a detailed list. This is a non credit Community Education course. You will not receive college credit. This is a college-level course. Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
