Electrical Apprenticeship Year 1
In the College of Eastern Idaho's Workforce Training Electrical Apprenticeship Program, apprenticeship students will learn the Fundamentals of Electrical Theory, the National Electrical Code, and other practical training that may be seen on the jobsite. This Year 1 class will cover the first 144 hours of the education requirements and is taught by a network of highly experienced Journeyman and Master Journeyman.

Electrical Motor Controls
This is an 8-hour controls class that teaches the operation, troubleshooting, and the "Need to Know" aspects of an electrical controls system found in industry today. PowerPoint presentation and hands-on practice will be used during this class. Journeyman and master electricians are NO LONGER required to have a total of 24 hours of continuing education every three years in order to renew their license, but we still want to offer this education and experience.
