Course Detail: W-BP-PMR - PMI Project Management Ready

This program provides a comprehensive introduction to project management principles and practices, emphasizing real-world application across diverse professional settings. Using an interactive online platform, group discussion, and a capstone project, participants will gain essential tools and techniques to integrate project management into their daily work.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Explain core project management concepts and terminology
Apply predictive (plan-based) and adaptive (agile) methodologies to real-world projects.
Understand the role of business analysts in project environments
Successfully prepare for the PMI Project Management Ready certification exam.

Certification: 
PMI Project Management Ready (PMR) is an entry-level credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI) that validates readiness to manage projects effectively. Student will be provided with access to practice exams by the end of the class. The first attempt at the PMI Project Management Ready Exam is included in tuition and can be taken at the CEI Testing Center upon completion of this class.

Bulletin

This will be a mixture of online learning and weekly online group discussions that includes a capstone project. You will receive instructions for accessing the online learning system as well as a Zoom link for your weekly discussions within a week of the start date of class.
