Course Detail: AEXP-075 - PROM AND FASHION FORMAL WEAR

Design and create a formal gown or other garment under the direction of a professional designer with impeccable tailoring skills. Students will work on their own unique projects - bring any patterns with you or prepare to discuss your garment design in the first class. Basic sewing skills required.

Supplies required for the course:

Pattern and fabric of your choice
Sewing machine, machine needles and bobbins.
Thread.
Tape measure.
Straight pins.
Scissors.
Seam ripper.
Ruler or seam gauge.
3 yards fabric, 1/2 yard interfacing (depending on project - can be discussed with instructor before purchasing)
