Learn the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori dyeing to create beautiful textiles using all natural indigo dyes. Various techniques in resist dyeing using dry binding methods including tied-resist, pole-wrapped-resist and clamp resist will be explored. Students will make and take home a Shibori silk scarf and two yards of hand dyed cotton fabric.
