Course Detail: PCSE-134 - FASHION ACCESSORIES DESIGN



Design and create your own brand of custom sneakers from start to finish. You'll handle the entire process, from sketching your initial concepts to constructing a wearable pair of kicks. You'll also design and construct a complementary garment to complete your head-to-toe look, to walk the runway with a unique outfit and standout portfolio pieces.


Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 

  1. Conceptualize a collaborative fashion collection based on design aesthetics and trends

  2. Formulate a critical vocabulary on the subjects of fashion accessories

  3. Comprehend the basics of pattern drafting

  4. Design and construct a basic garment

  5. Operate and maintain an industrial sewing machine

  6. Create or Improve fashion illustration skills

  7. Visualize and formulate products through review and quality control

A $300 deposit is required to reserve a spot in PCSE programs. Once you select "Resident" or "Commuter" tuition, you will be able to make a "Minimum Payment" in your shopping cart. A minimum payment of $300 is required, however, additional amounts can be paid.
