Course Detail: AVIS-059 - CERAMICS: DINNERWARE AND FEAST


Unleash your inner artist and craft a complete, personalized dinnerware set in this community building immersive six-week ceramic workshop! Perfect for beginners and intermediate students, this course will guide you through every step of creating beautiful, functional pottery-from wedging the clay to the final glaze firing to then share with other students at a potluck feast. While extensive prior ceramics experience is not necessary, it is recommended that students have had some introductory exposure to creating functional ceramics/pottery, either hand built or wheel thrown.

After your masterpieces have emerged from the final glaze firing, we will celebrate your hard work and creativity! Join your fellow students for a special potluck dinner where we will use and admire the beautiful dinnerware sets we created. This is a wonderful opportunity to share a meal, exchange tips, and celebrate a successful six weeks of clay work!
