Course Detail: AVIS-023 - JEWELRY DESIGN STUDIO
Buckles, brooches, and bracelets; this studio in metal work and jewelry design is an
investigation of the expressive potential of jewelry through form, function, and exuberant surface and bi-metal patterning. Topics explore making strategies including tools, techniques, soldering, etching, electro deposited metal, and patination. Metalwork in combination with stone, resin, and alternative materials create a rich pallet through which students communicate ideas, emotions, and aesthetic goals.
$325 plus $45 for basic materials.
