Experiment with clay! Make 2-3 small pieces by hand in week one and apply the glaze in week two. Projects will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the workshop is complete.

Create textiles that are both beautiful and functional. Shashiko is an ancient Japanese mending technique that uses geometric decorative stitches to reinforce fabrics. Students may bring a garment to mend or practice on samples provided. Supplies included.

Boutis is a French technique for creating raised embellishment on textiles. In this one day workshop, learn simplified cording techniques, stencil-making, and sewing machine techniques. Students will walk away with a finished sample of a boutis textile.
