Course Detail: AVIS-100 - CERAMICS: WHEEL THROWING




Open to all skill levels including beginners. Learn the basics of using the potter's wheel to create your own functional ceramics. Intermediate students will learn how to assemble pieces to create multifaceted pieces. 

$225 plus $50 Material fee
Ages 16+

A list of additional supplies required for the course will be listed soon. 
Supplies required for the course:

The following items are available at the CCS Bookstore

  • X-acto blade

  • Needle Tool

  • Small bucket

  • Rubber rib

  • Potter's sponge

  • Rasp/ surform shaver

  • Various brushes

The following items are NOT available in the CCS bookstore:

  • An apron to cover clothing

  • A 2'x2' sheet of drywall, you can find these pre-cut at Lowe's and Home Depot
