Course Detail: AEXP-111 - COZY KEEPSAKES: PET FUR NEEDLE FELTING WORKSHOP

Join us for a unique and heartwarming needle felting workshop where you'll learn the magical technique of transforming shed fur from you favorite four legged friend or wool into a beautiful, lasting keepsake.

This beginner-friendly session is perfect for all animal lovers. We will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of dry needle felting.

Bring to the workshop

Your Pet's Fur (Optional): If you wish to use your own pet's fur, please bring a small, clean, golf-ball-sized clump. Dog, cat, rabbit, or llama fur that has been brushed out works best!

(We will also provide plenty of colored felting wool for those without pet fur or who wish to practice.)

$45 plus $25 material fee

Biography: Angela Zachary is a third-generation textile artist with over 20 years of experience teaching and building creative community. Her passion for handcrafting is rooted in a deep commitment to sustainability-encouraging others to mend, reuse, and make with intention.

Angela specializes in a wide range of textile arts, including visible mending techniques like sashiko, needle felting, and loom darning, as well as hand embroidery, macram�, garment sewing, and accessory-making. Her classes blend tradition with personal expression, inviting students of all levels to discover the joy and mindfulness of working with their hands.

Whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or returning to a craft you love, Angela brings patience, skill, and a contagious creative spirit to every workshop.
