Course Detail: AEXP-073 - SEWING I

Beginning and intermediate sewers can bring their own sewing machine and create a garment. Learn how to select fabrics, lay out and cut a pattern, and sew your garment. During this process you will create buttonholes, set-in sleeves and cuffs.

Supplies required for this course:
1. Sewing pattern options, Select only 1: Simplicity #1538, #9858, # 9708, #9858. Butterick #6946, 6924. Or a button up shirt of your choice.
2. Sewing machine, needles and bobbins.
3. 3 yards of fabric, 1/2 yard interfacing.
4. Thread.
5. Tape measure, ruler.
6. Straight pins.
7. Scissors.
8. Seam ripper.
9. Hand sewing needles.
10. Marking utensil.
