Course Detail: AVIS-046 - FIGURATIVE SCULPTURE


This course is aimed at providing an understanding of the body and the human figure through sculpture. The study of the human body is a strong foundation for formal, conceptual and expressive artistic explorations. Portraiture and anatomical figure studies will accompany instruction in armature building, modeling, mold making, casting, and patina techniques. The goal of the course is to strengthen your visual translational capacity. Students will work from a live nude model.  

Ages 16+ 
(Students under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian permission to take this course.)

$295 plus $45 Model Fee

Supplies required for the course are available for purchase at the CCS bookstore.
