Course Detail: AVIS-029 - CERAMICS: HAND BUILDING AND SURFACE DESIGN

Students work through a series of projects exploring both traditional and experimental handbuilding techniques like pinch, coil, and slab. Alongside building forms, there's a strong focus on surface design-using carving, sgraffito, slip, and resist to develop your own visual language.

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to build a strong foundation in ceramics while experimenting with creative and unique surface finishes.
