Course Detail: AEXP-068 - FASHION SEWING: BLAZERS AND JACKETS

Learn to tailor a bespoke, handmade blazer or jacket. Students will work from a pattern and learn how to customize jackets with linings, notched collar and tailoring techniques, for the perfect fit. Students taking this advanced class should have already taken Sewing 1 or have some sewing experience.

8 Sessions (no class March 14 or April 4th)

Supplies required for the class:

Commercial jacket/blazer pattern including printed directions.
Scissors
Tape measure, ruler.
Straight pins.
Hand sewing needles.
Seam ripper.
Marking utensil.
Sewing machine, needles and bobbins.
Thread
All fabrics, interfacing, and notions.
