Get messy and explore the magic of print! Whether it's carving a stamp for relief printing or pushing ink through a screen, you'll learn the techniques to create a whole stack of original art.*

Maker's Weekend 2026

June 26-28 Friday, Saturday, Sunday

9am - 5pm (with an hour lunch break on your own)

Instructor: Cara O'Connor

Skill level: Beginners to more advanced students

Location: College for Creative Studies, Kresge Ford Building C*117

Hours: 7 hours per day, 3 days, total of 21 contact hours

$295 plus $45 material fee

All Materials provided

Housing Available in the Art Center Building for $50 per night.

Minimum number of students: 5 students

Maximum number of students: 10 students

SCECHs: 21 SCECH points pending approval

Refund policy: Students may cancel up to 5 days before the first day of the workshop to receive a full refund. Students who cancel within 4 days of first of workshop will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds offered after the start of the first class.
