Course Detail: WKSH-075 - PUPPETRY AND STORYTELLING FOR K-12 TEACHERS


This hands-on professional development workshop equips educators with practical storytelling frameworks and low-cost puppetry techniques to boost classroom engagement, foster social-emotional learning (SEL), and enhance literacy across all grade levels. Teachers will leave with tangible classroom strategies, dynamic narrative prompts, and their own handmade puppet prototype built from everyday materials.

This 90 minute workshop is free at during the Educator's Night at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
