This course is designed to teach basic tactics to officers assigned to special tactical units that deal with high-risk situations that are outside of the training and capabilities of the normal law enforcement officer's duties. These specialized duties often include confronting heavily armed suspects, executing high-risk warrants, performing vehicle takedowns and performing hostage rescues.
