This course introduces students to fire safety issues related to donning, wearing, and doffing personal protective equipment - while operating on a fire/rescue emergency scene and while responding to or returning from that scene. Students will learn the about the construction and limitations of structural firefighting turnout gear and self-contained breathing apparatus. Students will also be introduced to command and accountability sysetms.
