This course establishes the foundation for and promotes consistent training of all responders to achieve the three objectives of the Traffic Incident Management (TIM) National Unified Goal: responder safety; safety, quick clearance from incidents; and prompt, reliable, inter-operable communications. This course will familiarize fire and rescue personnel with the purpose of the Strategic Highway Research Program 2 (SHRP2) and National TIM Responder Training Program, related specifically to North Carolina.
