Unlike individual shoplifting incidents, organizational retail crime is characterized by its strategic planning, and involvement of multiple participants, and often extends across various geographical locations. The perpetrators of organizational retail crime employ sophisticated techniques, posing challenges to retailers and law enforcement agencies. This course will provide increased awareness to law enforcement officers tasked with preventing and combating this type of criminal activity.
