This certification-related course is designed to give the candidate a basic understanding of emergency medical care procedures as well as all of the information required to meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfy the key requirements of NFPA 1001: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications (2017 edition; Chapter 6) and NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications (2013 edition; Chapter 4).
