Course Detail: FIP-4630A4 - FLSE I

safety lessons and teach a safety lesson plan that you can use at your own fire department. You will also review new Community Risk Reduction resources that you can obtain at no cost. This class will show a new educator how to keep successful records and reports. You will review and document various fire and life safety educational programs, describe various formats, prepare written reports, and discuss time management and organizational skills. Learn how to develop and maintain a work schedule, and arrange meetings, presentations, and community events, while reducing scheduling conflicts. Discuss how to work with local media outlets and distribute fire & life safety materials and messages to the community. This is a NC Fire and Rescue Commission certification course approved for offering as of July 1, 2017. This course should be consistent with the most current Commission guidelines.
