Training Information: CED-0338 - Coping with Frustration: Preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome and Child Maltreatment in ECE Settings

This training is designed to address crucial information about preventing instances of Shaken Baby Syndrome. It will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify risk factors in adults and learn appropriate strategies to manage stress and cope with frustration. During the training, you will review and practice safe soothing techniques for infants and toddlers. You will also explore how to promote safe prevention within your learning environment and discuss ways to create a program culture that prioritizes the emotional safety of both educators and children through communication strategies and safety planning.
