Training Information: CED-0892 - Introduction to Tree Pruning and Knots for Ascension Climbing

This three-day hands on training is for participants interested in learning the introductory skills toward becoming an arborist. The training will focus on proper tree pruning, tree growth and health on Day 1. On days 2 and 3, participants will learn about friction hitches for ascending a tree for spurless climbing. We will be using the Double Rope Technique (DRT) method. This training will introduce participants to the basic skills needed to become an arborist, resulting in a certificate to share with potential employers.
