Training Information: CED-0849 - Gas Metal Arc Welding - MIG Basic

This training is Basic (wire feed) gas metal arc welding and can be adjusted to the students ability. This training is the most basic in wire feed gas metal arc welding. Vermont has businesses that require welding techniques from manufacturing, steel erection to the HVAC and pipe welding unions and contractors. The exam will be given on the last day of the training. While personal protective equipment will be provided (except for MANDATORY leather boots and long-sleeved, natural-fiber clothing [cotton, wool, or leather]) we strongly encourage participants to have their own that includes gloves and welding shields/helmets. The American Welding Society announced 372,000 open welding jobs nationwide in the early part of 2017. That number is expected to reach 450,000 by 2025.

A charge of $25.00 will be assessed on cancellations occurring within 5 days of the start of this session.
