Training Information: CED-0892 - Introduction to Tree Pruning and Knots for Ascension Climbing
This is a hands-on training for participants interested in learning the introductory skills toward becoming an arborist. The training will focus on proper tree pruning, tree growth, and tree health. Participants will learn about friction hitches for ascending a tree, spurless climbing, and using the Double Rope Technique (DRT) method. This training will introduce participants to the basic skills needed to become an arborist. A certificate will be issued upon completion, which can look valuable to potential employers.

REGISTRATION: Registration closes 2 weeks before the training start date. Any registrations from the initial close up to 5 days before the start will be assessed a $50 late registration fee. No registrations within 5 days of the training. Any cancelations within 5 days of starting will be assessed a $75 cancelation fee. There will be no refunds given for no-shows.
