Brain Injury Courses, Primary Care and Traumatic Brain Injury

Primary Care and TBI learners will hear from a variety of speakers impacted by TBI and strategies that are helpful in their care or practice. This course is divided into three modules:

Upon course completion, learners will be able to define acquired and traumatic brain injury including incidence, severity and marked functional changes; identify vulnerable populations to TBI and considerations as primary care staff; list different screening methods used at the primary care level for TBI and explain how primary care staff can be involved in the continuum of care for individuals with TBI.
