T&L 2900: JHMS Social Studies PLC 23-24

This course will allow teachers within the Social Studies department at Jim Hill Middle School to collaborate and address the four critical questions of the professional learning community:
  1. What do we want all students to know and be able to do?
  2. How will we know if students are learning?
  3. How will we respond when some students do not learn?
  4. How will we extend the learning of students who are already proficient?
Teachers will access each other's professional, pedagogical, and content knowledge through structured reflection and inquiry.

This is a 2-credit professional development course.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
